Simple Present Tense

Simple present tense is the tense used when an event is taking place at this time or an event that occurs repeatedly (habit). These tenses are the tenses most often used in English. Formula: (+) S + V1 / (to be) + O     ➡️ Tiara live in Jakarta.     ➡️ I'am a teacher (-) S + don't / doesn't + V1 + O     ➡️ Tiara don't live in Jakarta. If the verb is to be, the formula becomes:      S + (is, am are) + not + Object    ➡️ I'am not a teacher. (?) Do / Does + S + V1 + O     ➡️ Do She live in Jakarta? The word do is used if the subject is I, you they, we. The word does is used when the subject is She, He, It Nb: To be: (is, am, are)
