Derivatives and the structure of sentence


In simple terms, a sentence is a set of words that contain:

a subject (what the sentence is about, the topic of the sentence), and a predicate (what is said about the subject)

Sentences:
1. Imperative Sentence:
I eat an apple.
2. Negative Sentence
I don't eat an apple.
3. Interrogative Sentence:
Do you eat an apple?


Derivatives of Word (Turunan Kata)

Definition
Derivatives are words formed from other “root” word ( pembentukan kata baru dengan kata yang sudah ada)

Ex:

1. Noun suffix : Pembentukan kata benda dengan penambahan imbuhan.
If you find this affix, then the sentence turns into a noun.( Jika kamu menemukan imbuhan ini, maka kalimat tersebut berubah menjadi kata benda)

2. Verb suffix : Pembentukan kata kerja

Sure        en+  : Ensure➡️Memastikan


3. Adj Suffix : Pembentukan kata sifat

Beauty  +ful : Beautiful ➡️Cantik
Power   +less : Powerless➡️Lemah

Main idea or main idea is an idea that becomes the core of a paragraph. Every paragraph should have a main idea. Main idea is an important thing about a topic. Main idea is also in the form of a sentence, usually placed in the first sentence. But the main idea can also be put in the middle or at the end of a paragraph, depending on how it is arranged.
