Simple Present Tense



Simple present tense is the tense used when an event is taking place at this time or an event that occurs repeatedly (habit).

These tenses are the tenses most often used in English.

Formula:
(+) S + V1 / (to be) + O
    ➡️ Tiara live in Jakarta.
    ➡️ I'am a teacher

(-) S + don't / doesn't + V1 + O
    ➡️ Tiara don't live in Jakarta.
If the verb is to be, the formula becomes:
     S + (is, am are) + not + Object
   ➡️ I'am not a teacher.

(?) Do / Does + S + V1 + O
    ➡️ Do She live in Jakarta?
The word do is used if the subject is I, you they, we.
The word does is used when the subject is She, He, It

Nb: To be: (is, am, are)

Used to express a job, an action or an event that occurs at the present (time) or it can also be called an event that is happening. Example: 1. 1. Command     Command is a command sentence used to order someone to do an action. The command sentence is divided into two, namely: a. If the positive is "order" b. If negaitive is "prohibited" a. Main Idea

Main idea or main idea is an idea that becomes the core of a paragraph. Every paragraph should have a main idea. Main idea is an important thing about a topic.
