Simple Past Tense


The simple past tense is a tense sentence used to express events that occurred in the past and have ended in the past.
In a simple past tense sentence, there are two types of verbs, namely regular verbs and irregular verbs. For regular verbs, add -ed / -d after the first form verb. Example:
Stay - stayed
Punch - Punched (Hit)
Play - Played
Touch - Touched
Love - Loved
Marry - Married (Married)

Examples of irregular verbs:
Awake - Awoke (Awakened)
Begin - Began (Getting Started)
Drink - Drank (Drink)
Eat - ate (Eat)
Run - ran (Running)


The simple past tense formula is:
(+) S + V2 + O
(-) S + did not + V1
(?) Did + S + V1

Example of sentences:
(+) I will married with fantastic party
(-) I did not marry with fantastic party
(?) Did you marry with fantastic party?

Used to express a job, an action or an event that occurs at the present (time) or it can also be called an event that is happening. Example: 1. They are studying Mathmatic now     (They are studying Math now) 2. 1. Command     Command is a command sentence used to order someone to do an action. The command sentence is divided into two, namely: a. If the positive is "order" b. If negaitive is "prohibited" a. Positive     Formula :     V1 + Obj / Ket +! Ex: open your book! wash your hands! cut your hair! give me money! write your name! Main Idea

Main idea or main idea is an idea that becomes the core of a paragraph. Every paragraph should have a main idea. Main idea is an important thing about a topic. Main idea is also in the form of a sentence, usually placed in the first sentence. But the main idea can also be put in the middle or at the end of a paragraph, depending on how it is arranged.
